I can’t reblog Sisky’s post about it so I’m just going to ramble here about how Jason is a Gryffindor and not a Slytherin!

Beyond the points Sisky made, I think there are two things we need to consider.

1. People are sorted when they are eleven years old. This is a young Jason’s idea of ‘conniving’.

2. If a person has traits applicable to various Houses, the Sorting Hat will ask where they want to go. Where would they feel comfortable? Which traits do they value the most?

You could argue that Jason can be devious, can be ambitious in certain ways, but they aren’t his priorities. Particularly as a kid, Jason valued bravery. Passion. Action.

I think, too, he’d find the ideals espoused by the Gryffindor House very appealing, even if he didn’t feel he lived up to them.

If you really want to Sort a Robin into Slytherin, Tim is right there.

Jason definitely fits the Gryffindor profile to a T.
