Dear DC,
We at FuckyeahJtoddz! are formally requesting Jason Todd’s origin stories (post-Crisis) to be released in trade paperback form. Not only are these stories hard for fans to find at comic cons, but they can be quite pricey for just one issue.
This would include:
Batman 408: Batman goes to Crime Alley on the anniversary of his parent’s death and he meets Jason, who is boosting the tires off the Batmobile. He later puts Jason in Ma Gunn’s school for unruly boys, where Jason quickly deduces it’s a front for crime.

Batman 409: Jason helps Batman take down Ma Gunn’s school of crime and is officially appointed Robin.

Batman 410: After six months of training, Jason is finally allowed to wear the Robin costume. Jason discovers Two-Face to be responsible for the death of his father, Willis Todd.

Batman 411: Jason confronts Batman about his knowledge that Two-Face murdered his father and that Batman didn’t tell him about it. Here we see Jason’s thirst for revenge against his father’s murder and his decision to reject killing as a form of vengeance.

Batman 416: Jason and Nightwing meet for the first time. This is important because Dick does accept Jason as Robin and he and Bruce resolve some serious issues between them.

Batman 424: The infamous issue where Jason may or may not have pushed a serial rapist — who was going to get off of diplomatic immunity — off a roof.

Batman 425: Where Jason sees the consequences of his actions after the Felipe Garzonas incident when Garzonas’ father holds Jim Gordon hostage at a junk yard.
These issues are all very important to Jason’s origin as a character and in his formation. We would also like it if you could include his only solo story he had as Robin, from Batman Annual 12, in this mix, as that story is also hard to come by. That is a total of seven and one-third stories.
We are asking for this as other characters in the Batfamily have had their origins published in trade format, but Jason’s origins have yet to see that. His death and his resurrection have been collected, but not his origin story. And, since it was used as Tim Drake’s origin in Batman: The Animated Series, as well as part of it was used in Dick Grayson’s origin in Batman: Forever, it would be nice to show that the elements of his origin were interesting enough to put in other mediums.
We at FuckyeahJToddz feel this is very important and hope that DC will put out this trade so past, present and future Bat-and comic fans can read Jason’s origin story in its entirety.
Thank-you!
